The first, of what we hope in many to come, METAL INJECTION FESTIVAL took place a month ago. Covering Night 1 of the Metal Injection Fest at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, it was headlined by CAVALERA with a Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions set, along with EXHUMED and INCITE who they are currently on tour with. Locals FUELED BY FIRE and DEAD HEAT opened the show. With Night 2 to follow, the SOLD OUT Night 1 would be a hard act to follow. Night 2 of the first ever METAL INJECTION FESTIVAL, at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, was headlined by FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD and TESTAMENT. Those names alone should have sold out the place! Along with LIVE footage of them, I mentioned the locals also on the bill that I didn't catch.
