Zombie and Seether Take A Brea

The evening was hot and miserable inside Ryan's Ballroom. This turned out to be one hell of a small club show. Seether opened the show and played for about 45 minutes. Now only going by the few songs I've downloaded on the net, I had somewhat of an idea what these guys sounded like. Well, after all was said and done, they did impress me. Although being a semi easier-rocking band, they did have some heavier stuff. On a scale of 1 – 5, I'd give them a 4.
After a 45 intermission, "The Creeper" took the stage. Yes, Rob Zombie in a small club show! It was a stripped down show, but the fans didn't seem to care. With the Wolfman picture on stage right and Frankenstein on stage left, Zombie and the boys slammed out "Demon Speeding," and "Dead Girl Superstar."
Zombie noticed a young child was up front and offered him the best seat in the house, just off stage right. Without missing a beat, Zombie decided that we needed to hear some classic White Zombie songs like "More Human Than Human" and "Super-Charger Heaven," and then pounded out more Zombie favorites like, "Living Dead Girl" and "House of 1000 Corpses."
After coming back on for the second encore, Zombie announced that half the PA system had blown and they were going to try one last song. It held out as he closed the show with "Meet The Creeper." The show was high energy from start to finish. Zombie did announce that he's doing five of these around the country, so be on the lookout for "Meet The Creeper," for you never know where he'll spring up next on a day off from Ozzfest! Rating 5 out of 5!
