V2 (pronounced V Squared)--the high voltage rock band featuring twin brothers Vittorio (guitar) and Vincenzo (drums)--are now strongly impacting the charts with their the title track of their debut album, We Are V2, which was released February 24, 2015 via Rock Star University Records.

As of the week of March 30, We Are V2 is #1 on the National Radio Airplay Charts for Independent Artists, #3 at Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales chart and #3 on the National Airplay Top 50 Rock chart. Check out the lead single “We Are V2” below.

Made up of Vincenzo on drums and twin brother Vittorio on guitar, V2 teamed up with legendary rock producer Ron Nevison (LED ZEPPELIN, BAD COMPANY, OZZY OSBOURNE, KISS and more) on their debut album to write and record nine original classic rock-flavored tracks, plus a cover of AC/DC's “High Voltage” as a tribute to Rock music’s most notable brothers, Malcolm and Angus Young. We Are V2 is available now via iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy or the band’s webstore.

“I was blown away working with Vincenzo and Vittorio, 11 years olds aren’t supposed to be this good,” says Ron Nevison. “I’ve worked with major stars that couldn’t keep up with these two.”

This past December V2 became the first band to sweep the LA MUSIC AWARDS when they took home awards in all seven categories they were nominated in: Record of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, Rock Artist of the Year, Hard Rock Band of the Year, Rock Single of the Year, Guitarist of the Year and Live Performance of the Year. The performance video of V2 performing their track “Long Live Rock And Roll” at the LA MUSIC AWARDS has garnered over one million views and can be seen below. "Never before in the 24-year history of the LA Music Awards, has anyone ever received seven nominations,” says Al Bowman, Executive Producer of the LA MUSIC AWARDS. “Vittorio and Vincenzo of are 11-year-old protégés born to carry the Rock N Roll torch for their generation. The LA Music Awards Nomination Committee was blown away by their musicianship, live-performance skills and debut album."

When asked how they felt about receiving seven nominations for the 2014 LA MUSIC AWARDS, Vittorio stated, "We are honored to receive the nominations and be recognized for all the hard work we put into our debut album. Adds Vincenzo, "In February we will be recording our third, live concert DVD. Then we would like to open for AC/DC when they start their 40th Anniversary Tour.”

Nevison is not surprised by the band’s success. He says: "Having produced multi-platinum albums for some of the greatest rock bands over the last 40 years, I knew Vittorio and Vincenzo had a very special talent. Their songwriting, musicianship and performance skills are off the hook for rockers even twice their age. These kids appeal to the over 40 crowd because they are playing new, original rock songs with a sound from the past that middle age adults appreciate and at the same time, V2 is introducing the 1970 – 1980's rock sound to their own generation. It's a one-two punch that creates a knock-out commercial success."

V2 was formed by Vittorio and Vincenzo when they were just eight-years-old to play for their Catholic school talent show. The boys played the AC/DC hits “Back in Black”, “TNT” and “Highway To Hell” to the dismay of the school administration and the delight of their school mates. The boys were banned from ever repeating such a performance at their school, so the following year, at age 9, they thrilled 350 screaming fans with a 12-song set of six AC/DC covers and six original songs in their Santa Rosa hometown. In 2014, at age 10, the brothers performed in front of a sold-out crowd who witnessed the duo perform an 18-song set of 12 of their original rock tunes sprinkled with six AC/DC covers, including an unexpected grand finale featuring NIGHT RANGER's front man Jack Blades presenting his personal guitar to the boys as a gift of thanks for keeping rock alive in the next generation and then belted out the vocals as the boys brought the house down with AC/DC's “Highway To Hell”.
