05/26/03 Nagoya, JAP Club Quattro 05/27/2003 Osaka, JAP Big Cat Nevermore’s forthcoming album, Enemies of Reality, has been pushed back to a July 28th release date through Century Media. Jane’ s Addiction will finally release their long-awaited studio album, Hypersonic, on July 15th, just shortly after the kick off of Lollapalooza. The album is being produced by Bob Ezrin (KISS, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd), who also produced Jane’s Ritual De Lo Habitual in 1990. Metallica’s forthcoming studio album, St. Anger, is set for release through Elektra on June 10th. Blind Guardian’s live double-disc CD will simply be titled Live, and will be released on May 26th. Shadows Fall are touring machines! They are currently in Europe with Soilwork and Children of Bodom until May 14th, then they will be at the New England Metal Fest on May 16th, onto a few gigs with Sworn Enemy and Nothingface into a 2-month run on Ozzfest in the US. The album will include bonus tracks and new artwork. 2003 marks the 30th anniversary for Lynyrd Skynyrd. They will release their latest studio effort, Vicious Cycle, on May 20th through Sanctuary. Apparently Slayer’s DVD, War at the Warfield, which was supposed to be released in February, will now be released on June 3rd through American. The ‘Jailhouse Rock 2’ tour will include Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Biohazard and Throwdown. The Devore, CA venue typically hosts large festivals such as the annual Ozzfest. This year, MTV will honor Metallica in their annual tribute show, MTVicon, which will air on May 6th.
