The reissue contains 3 discs: Disc 1 is a fully remastered version of the original record with the added bonus of 2 Quicktime videos for "Reign of Fire" and "Last Train Home." Disc 2 is the entire record in 4-track demo form from 1988 - 1990 and also features Dave Prichard on most of the recordings. Disc 3 is an hour-long interview with Metal Blade records CEO Brian Slagel and the band discussing the events that led up to and the making of the record. Morbid Angel are back in the studio recording their next album with original singer/bassist Steve Tucker. King’s X singer/bassist Doug Pinnick has been collaborating with Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and hope to complete their project sometime this year. In the meantime, King’s X is currently on tour in support of their latest release, Black Like Sunday. For those in the Chicago area, check out 3 Guys Pickin’ on cable channel 19 for recent live footage of Zakk Wylde, Scorpions, Def Leppard and Whitesnake. There will also be a rebroadcast of an exclusive acoustic performance by Zakk Wylde of “Spoke in the Wheel.” Rock City Morgue, which features bassist Sean Yseult (ex-White Zombie), will release a 6-song EP on June 10th titled Some Ghouls. The EP will include a cover of the Rolling Stones’ track “Shattered.”
06/07/03 Las Vegas, NV House Of Blues 06/08/03 Anaheim, CA The Grove Of Anaheim Stone Sour will tape an appearance for MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball along with guest host Rob Zombie, which will air on May 31st at 10PM. Blind Guardian drummer Thomen Stauch has had recurring problems with nerves in his hand and will be unable to play this summer with the band. Filling in for him in the meantime will be Rhapsody drummer Alex Holzwarth. Favored Nations is currently running an exclusive listening party for guitarist Marty Friedman's Music For Speeding through May 27th. The record hits stores on May 20th, but this gives you the chance to check out what the Grammy-award winning former Megadeth axeman before it hits stores. Rob Zombie will produce comedian Chris Hardwick’s first comedy album. "Chris is a severely dangerous and deranged man that has found a way to channel all his rage and pain into balls out hilarious, yet sharp edgy comedy that kicks the ass of his wacky competitors," says Zombie. Hardwick starred in Zombie’s recent horror flick, House of 1000 Corpses. The Scorpions will perform 2 concerts during the St. Petersburg, Russia’s 300th Anniversary Celebrations. The first show will be on Thursday, May 29th and the second show is Saturday, May 31st. Soulfly were reunited with their former drummer Joe Nunez at their gig on May 1st in Chicago.
