Dokken Live at The Galaxy in S

I arrived at the galaxy at 8:00pm Thursday night. After sitting through two bands who were horrible, I couldn't wait for Dokken to begin.
At 10:15 the three members of the band hit the stage and started with the beginning of the song “Kiss of Death.” A few seconds later, Don Dokken came walking out slowly, wearing a pair of sunglasses and an Asian style silk shirt. Don Dokken's vocal range isn't what it used to be, but he sounded just fine to me.
After the first two songs, Don Dokken talked with the crowd. He went on to say that they had been on the road with Whitesnake and the Scorpions. He then went on to say that the only thing that sucked about the opening gig was that they could only play for a half hour. So he said to get ready for a long night.
Then they went into the song, “Into the Fire.” The guitar player, Alex Deroso, does a hell of a job playing the old songs just like George
Lynch. Mick Brown on drums was awesome. As for the bass player, he was good but I have no idea what his name is -- Don never introduced him.
They covered a lot of the old songs, from “Breaking the Chains” to “Tooth & Nail.” I was a little disappointed because at 11:30 they were saying goodnight, and that included the encore. I thought we were gonna get at least two hours of rock ‘n roll, but I guess he had something better to do.
Well anyway, I had a good time Rokken with Dokken, but I do wish the set was a little longer. I would recommend seeing Dokken. I had a good time for the hour & fifteen minutes.
Here is the set list in order as I remember it:
1. Kiss of Death
2. The Hunter
3. Into the Fire
4. Alone Again
5. Just Got Lucky
6. (A new song off the Long Way Home album)
7. Heaven Comes Down
8. Breaking the Chains
9. Tooth & Nail
10. It's Not Love (extended version)
11. In My Dreams
12. Paris is Burning
