A new metal event will be raised in the middle of Germany. The first Metal Crash festival will take place on Saturday, October 7th, in the Hessenhalle in Gießen. The billing already is completed: PRIMAL FEAR, KISSIN' DYNAMITE, MYSTIC PROPHECY, REBELLION, SPITEFUEL and MERCURY FALLING are confirmed.

In 2017, PRIMAL FEAR are celebrating their 20th birthday with a best of set at the Metal Crash. Fans can expect them to perform some of their classics and some more recent songs. PRIMAL FEAR are one of the most successful metal acts in Europe. The band was founded in 1997 by former GAMMA RAY vocalist Ralf Scheepers and bassist/vocalist Mat Sinner, two of the most respected German metal musicians. In 2016, the band presented their 11th album Rulebreaker.

KISSIN' DYNAMITE, a hard rock band from the beautiful South of Germany, is one of the most energetic, active and professional groups of the current scene. Still being young of age (average 25 years), KISSIN' DYNAMITE have achieved a lot in their almost ten years of history. At the moment they are as confident as they have never been before: There is no reowned metal festival the young, but experienced band hasn't played.

MYSTIC PROPHECY became one of the biggest surprises within the global metal scene the last years. The band stands for powerful and dynamic metal. Inspired by bands like ACCEPT, JUDAS PRIEST, EXODUS or TESTAMENT they are no longer only a real insider's tip.

Local colour is offered by REBELLION. The band, formed by Tomi Göttlich (Ex-GRAVE DIGGER) is among the established German power metal bands. Whoever has seen this band live on stage before, knows that every REBELLION show is bursting with energy. Although the band had some changes in the line-up, the live gigs of the band are still powerful and energetic.

SPITEFUEL is a fresh heavy rock band, founded in 2016. Due to powerful guitars, epic melodies, hard riffs and drumming, dynamic choruses and the intensive singing of Stefan Zörner, SPITEFUEL will rock the stages.

MERCURY FALLING will be the opener of the festival in the afternoon. The band from Fulda offers a combination of heavy metal and dark melodic rock. Looking back on 20 years of band history, MERCURY FALLING will inspire the audience with a range from heavy metal chords to playful heavy rock numbers to balladesque songs.
