THE THREE TREMORS
The Solo Versions
2019 Steel Cartel
The supergroup THE THREE TREMORS unleashed its debut album almost exactly a year ago to wide acclaim throughout the metal community. This three-headed juggernaut of vocal forces featured Tim 'Ripper' Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), Harry Conklin (JAG PANZER) and Sean Peck (CAGE) who formed an alliance that destroyed all in their path.
Backing this trio of singers was the band CAGE (guitarists Dave Garcia and Casey Trask, bassist Alex Pickard and drummer Sean Elg), all experts on their instruments. The twelve original songs on this self-titled debut showed what could happen if the heavy metal dream team came together, and didn’t remain a pipe dream like it had in the past. Instant classics like “When The Last Scream Fades”, “The Pit Shows No Mercy” and “Sonic Suicide” conveyed a diversity of subjects and songwriting skills.
Believe it or not, the album had its detractors. Some fans said it was too over the top, too much going on, just... too much. While those folks’ spinal fortitude can be debated later, simply put: if that was your problem, then The Solo Versions is your answer. On The Solo Versions, all 12 songs are performed by each singer independent of the other two singers. Now, you can experience the entire album with the vocals of each singer, who each have their own disc here, meaning if you’re a bigger fan of one singer over the other, you can hear how he sings these songs alone. I have my favorites for each song, now you can too.
In addition, this gorgeous three-disc digipak contains all new artwork by acclaimed artist Dusan Markovic, (featuring separate covers for each singer). Another difference from the original release is the 26 brand new, never-before-seen photographs included in this digipak. The album is available now from Steel Cartel’s website: www.steelcartel.com or see the band on tour now!
