wow. That's it, three little letters w-o-w, wow.

Since I started with three little letters, I'll move on to three little words... F#@k the naysayers! Motley Crue has done it again. In front of a sold out crowd on St. Pattie’s Day in Dallas, the Crue kicked ass, and then some! If you have ever been even a casual fan of Motley Crue, do yourself a favor and go to this show! If Motley Crue was the soundtrack for your adolescence (guilty) then going is not even a question. They sounded great, they looked great… they were great.

Motley Crue has always been about putting on one awesome stage show, this tour is no exception. The "Carnival of Sins" theme fits right in with what we would expect from this band. From the midgets to the girls on trapezes, the entire night worth every penny that I spent on this show (more than face, as I waited until last minute).

The bad news - The set list does not appear to change from night to night.
The good news - The set list does not appear to change from night to night!

They play songs that have not been played live in quite awhile and they sound GREAT! Particular favorites were "Louder Than Hell" and "On With the Show" and even though it is a set list standard, "Live Wire" is NOT TO BE MISSED!

The show stars with "Shout" and some nice pyro and continues on with songs from the first three albums with emphasis on the first two. Then a show intermission and the boys come back with their latter work. The two new songs come of good enough live, but everything else is first rate.

A sidebar, please, for those claiming Mick is a statue on stage: are you kidding? First off, Mick has NEVER been a David Lee Roth type who highkicked all over stage. Second, for having degenerative bone disease AND a hip replacement, the man gets around better than any of us would. Enough with my rant...

Tommy started his drum solo by standing center stage and calling for a shot. One midget brings the glass, another the drink. Tommy pours the shot and says "To Dimebag" ...drinks... "…and Vinny, if you're out there, I love you Bro." Very F#@kin' Cool!

Boys and girls, I've said it before and I'll say it again... anyone who is putting this show down has either A.) Never liked Motley Crue or B.) not seen this show. Do whatever it is you need to do and go to this show. See other reviews for set list.
