Norwegian black metal overlord Mortiis will perform in a London prison as part of his current tour in support of his latest opus The Smell Of Rain. The goth rocker will perform at the oldest prison in England, London's Clink Prison on April 12th, as part of his two shows in the UK. The other date is at Nottingham Rock City on April 13th.
The famed evil-elfin keyboard composer released The Smell of Rain on October 30th via Earache Records. The follow-up to Mortiis' 1999 breakthrough album, The Stargate, The Smell of Rain sees Mortiis bring to the forefront his long-time love for the legendary pioneers of the electronic dark-wave movement.
The rest of the The Smell of Rain tour will hit more conventional venues across countries including Germany, Holland, France and Spain.
