Progressive Metal act REDEMPTION has been going strong for over 20 years, with guitarist Nick van Dyk at the helm since its inception. It wasn't always easy keeping members aboard REDEMPTION due to other band commitments and life's intricacies. REDEMPTION has seen among its ranks members of FATES WARNING, SYMPHONY X, and other Progressive Metal luminaries.
The current line-up of REDEMPTION features Nick van Dyk, Chris Quirarte, Sean Andrews, Vikram Shankar, and Tom S. Englund. Special guests include Simone Mularoni, Chris Poland, and Henrik Danhage.
Their latest album I Am The Storm was released on March 17, 2023 through AFM Records, and it is quite possibly their finest hour. I had the chance to catch up with Nick van Dyk shortly after the album's release.
