After the break up of TAINTED LADY in 2020, Danish vocalist MICHAEL CATTON felt it was the perfect time to test the solo waters. Together with producer and guitarist Soren Andersen (GLENN HUGHES), Catton set out to create an album inspired by the music he grew up on. On November 10, 2023, MICHAEL CATTON released his debut album Point of No Return through Mighty Music. The album captures the sounds of Rock radio in 1987, while still maintaining a modern feel.

I had the chance to catch up with MICHAEL CATTON to find out more about his latest album, as well as, what led to the break-up of TAINTED LADY, why he chose to work with Soren Andersen, finally being able to cut an album with his brother Chris Catton (BOYS FROM HEAVEN), the stories behind the singles, signing with Mighty Music, his future tour plans, his favorite gig, some live SPINAL TAP moments, sharing the stage with Kip Winger, and much, much more.
