Disturbed frontman David Draiman is an Israeli. His brother is in Jerusalem, and he has family in Haifa, Israel. One friend has been killed, another injured, and he has spoken out on the conflict in the middle east. "If Lebanon can't get rid of the Hezbollah threat, Israel is forced to do what it must. I don't think you'll see another nation in history that's had to deal with what Israel has had to deal with... There's only so far you can be pushed. Ultimately, [Hezbollah] committed an act of war: they crossed the border and kidnapped soldiers. I think we should wipe them all out — every terrorist, every war-mongering piece of garbage. We should congregate them all on one island and nuke it. A line must be drawn."

Hatebreed will be shooting a video for their song Defeatist and they want you to be in it. Director Dale "Rage" Resteghini (Trivium, Mudvayne, Shadows Fall, Madball) will be at the helm and is taking applicants for the July 31st shoot from as many as 300 people who want to be part of what Rage calls "The Million Man Mosh." Register by going here and sending a message to Rage and his team.

As previously reported, Dragonforce will be doing a headline tour through North America in September and October. The band has added four new dates to the tour: Salt Lake City 9/16, Toronto 9/24, Montreal 9/25 and Tempe 10/5. A complete schedule of the "Inhuman Rampage Tour" can be found here.

Tesla have added two new dates to their Electric Summer Jam Tour through North America. Added are Mountain View, CA on August 4th and Sioux Fall, SD on August 11th. A complete tour schedule can be found here.

All That Remains' latest LP, The Fall of Ideals, opened at #75 on Billboard's album sales chart two weeks ago, selling close to 13,000 copies its first week in stores. The release fell to #139 the following week, but is on track to outsell the band's previous album, This Darkened Heart which went on to sell about 62,000 copies.

Former Megadeth bassist James MacDonough will be joining Strapping Young Lad on tour beginning August 1st. McDonough will replace Byron Stroud who'll be touring with Fear Factory in Europe.

Voivod's new album Katorz came out Tuesday on CD. Now the band has announced that Katorz will become available on vinyl in November. The record will feature new artwork and will be limited to 1,000 copies.

Eddie Van Halen has been popping up in small venues playing solo gigs to packed houses. Most recently a small courtyard at the House of Petals floral studio in West Hollywood. At this show, he was alone and some of the audience members were sitting on the edge of the stage.

In other EVH news, the guitarist contributed a new track called "Rise" and a remix of a song titled "Catherine" to a porno movie Sacred Sin. Eddie told avn.com, "I'm working with a friend -- very simple. I like his work. (Director) Michael Ninn is like a Spielberg to me: the imagery, the way he makes things look, just... sensual." Click here to hear "Rise", and here to hear "Catherine."

The voice of "Sister Mary" from Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime" and its sequel, "Operation: Mindcrime II", has finally released her long-awaited new solo album, "Stories from a Blue Room". Pamela Moore's CD features guest appearances by Michael Wilton (Queensryche, Soulbender), Jeff Loomis (Nevermore), Terri Nunn (Berlin) and Jason Kowalski (N17, Abigail Williams).
