In an exclusive interbiew with Access Hollywood, Ex- Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee spoke out on the tragic day a 4-year old boy drown in his pool in an exclusive interview with Access Hollywood. Here’s what Tommy had to say:
"Every day I walk out there, I look and I get goose bumps," Tommy said of his pool. "I just envision being on the phone calling 911 and people giving him CPR. I just visualize all of it every time we are out there."
Tommy said, "I wasn't responsible for that. I wasn't the only adult there. There were many adults and there was a lifeguard. It was a little kid pool party for my son."
The young boy, Daniel, was at the party with his nanny for Tommy’s son Brandon’s birthday. Apparently, the nanny left early to go to a rock concert. According to Daniel's parents, it was Tommy's caretaker who neglected the children in the pool and left them to swim without supervision. The court papers claim that there were no individuals there trained in CPR.
"I was there; I saw it," said Tommy. "I think out of all the accusations that were made, irresponsibility [was the reason]. I was watching my own kids."
Although there is no way to erase the parent's pain of loss of their child, Tommy felt he needed to help ease the pain for his own family.
As a healing process, Tommy said, "I had a very good friend of mine come by and set up a cleansing. We drained the pool; we blessed the new waters and my sons were part of it. I feel we did what we had to move on."
Tommy Lee will be back in court for a status conference on the drowning death on June 17th.
