Steven Tyler To Speak For Peace By Newsferatu, Writer Tuesday, January 30, 2007 @ 5:00 PM
Tyler will be speaking as part of a lobbying effort hosted by the Peace Alliance, “a nonpartisan citizen organization advocating for legislation that supports a culture of peace.”
According to event organizers, "Should the Peace Alliance achieve its goal of creating a Department of Peace, the department would create legislation that would reduce the level of violence, abuse, and poverty that plague our country."
Tyler will be appearing at the group’s rally on February 5 at George Washington University in Washington DC.
