Icarus Witch's touring van was broken into and robbed early Sunday morning (August 12th) after the band's performance in Chicago. The theft happened between 3am and 10am around the 2200 block of West Potomac in Chicago. The following items were stolen:
- Black '74 Custom Les Paul (20th Anniversary)
- Black Studio Les Paul
- Black Jackson Rhoads Pro Flying V guitar (has one Seymour Duncan pickup and one Jackson pickup)
- Purple custom flame maple Surh guitar
- Sure Beta wireless microphone & receiver
- Pearl Eliminator double bass drum pedal in a DW case

Chimaira and Poison The Well land songs on the motion picture soundtrack for Resident Evil: Extinction. Both Chimaira's "Paralyzed" and Poison The Well's "Wrecking Itself, Taking You With Me" have been included on the soundtrack which will be available in stores on September 18th. Former Megadeth guitarist, Marty Friedman is getting ready to host a new TV show in Japan. The following announcement is posted on his website: "Marty hosts a brand new weekly TV program, Ougon American Pops on Japan`s WOWOW network. First broadcast is 8/16. This show is to run for 10 weeks. The first show will feature a clip from the new Exhibit B- LIVE IN JAPAN DVD (8/22 release in Japan on Avex). He will also appear on the next Eigo de Shabera Night on NHK as well as an upcoming episode of NTV`s “Uta Sta”. Marty is to guest on Japanese nationwide radio 8/14, live broadcast from 12:15am to 1:30am, Nippon Housou Network. Type O Negative has completed filming a new video clip for 'September Sun' which is currently being edited. There is also a three week tour being planned around Halloween, exact dates and venues are forthcoming.
