Check out "Unleashed," the new video from Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers Epica. "Unleashed" comes off Epica's new album, Design Your Universe, which is due in Europe on October 16, 2009 and in North America on November 3, 2009. The follow-up to 2007's The Divine Conspiracy was recorded at Gate Studio in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth.
headbangersue - 10/13/2009 2:26:13 PM Another aspect of this video that I tremedously enjoyed and was enthused about were the changing of the eye color. Cool!!! I myself have had green, violet, and sapphire blue eyes, but neveR black. Yikes! That's perfect for this time of the yr.

headbangersue - 10/13/2009 2:23:17 PM Ah! Very beautiful song!!! Gotta love that fuckin' leather too!!! Oh, yeah!!! This song seems like it would fit into a flick of "Matrix" or "007" proportions. I've been doing this kind of music since I was in community college at 17 yrs of age. I used to love to translate Aerosmith, Kansas, Iron Maiden, etc. into symphonic, operatic, instrumental, keyboard, orchestral arrangements and or compositions. It was fuckin' fun to do and hear after all was written and performed in class or at the concert hall. That was the best time of my life, I reckon. These musicians are great. They know their education and know how to use it and share it. I, personally, would love to see metal take this ride from here on out into the future. I have always been a fan/hobbyist with anything that has to do with metal, leather, opera, smphonies/orchestra, and the especially the future. This is something I will tell my S.O. to dwnld 4 me. OliverKlohzoff - 10/12/2009 8:28:32 AM I want to like this, it is well done....... but...... I don't know, just doesn't make me want to listen to it again and again and headbang. Too weird of a mix. The operatic vocals just don't go with metal.

UnkleBone - 10/3/2009 10:57:26 AM This shit is off the chain!!!!! As a fan of this type of metal, I can say they are one of the best. The Europeans know a thing or two, and believe me there is an untapped source of metal for us Stateside folk, if you open your mind and ears.......
