According to the Toronto Sun, Robert Plant was once banned from hanging out with wildman John Bonham because the drummer's wife thought the singer was a bad influence. The late Bonham's wife Pat didn't care for Plant and tried to stop her husband from spending time with him.
Plant recalls, "his wife Pat had banned me from being anywhere near John, because it meant financial doom and distress on all levels. In her Black Country brogue, Pat would say, 'Don't go near Planty, it's all gonna go tits up'."
New York based extreme metal group Suffocation will tour North America this fall with prog-deathster THE FACELESS, deathcore merchants THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, tech-death meisters DECREPIT BIRTH, and Italy’s brutal/symphonic/avante garde horde FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE.
The tour is being called The Decibel Defiance Tour 2010 and tour dates will be announced shortly.

Slayer are scheduled to perform their track 'Hate Worldwide' on Tuesday, August 10th, on NBC-TV's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The show airs at 12:35 AM (Pacific and Eastern time)(early Wednesday morning, August 11th).
Atlanta based quintet Daath are currently putting the finishing touches on their third album, which is being co-produced by the renowned Mark Lewis (Trivium, Devildriver) and Eyal Levi (guitars).
