Legendary rock guitarist SLASH has joined forces with Guitar Center for the fourth installment of their "Guitar Center On-Stage" program and as a result, Slash plans to personally choose twenty unsigned bands to live the rock n' roll dream by opening various dates of his upcoming tour.

Slash's hand-picked acts will open the dates of his tour closest to their home base. At the tour's closing, one of the acts will be chosen as the grand prize winner, receiving $10,000 in guitars from Gibson and Epiphone, a $5,000 shopping spree at Guitar Center, etc. ALL acts chosen to open the various dates will receive prizes including gear from Ernie Ball, Zoom, Dunlop, Monster Cable, Pro-Mark, and Converse.

"I'm a strong believer that the best way to get your music heard is to get out there and play shows," Slash stated. "There are tons of talented bands that simply don't have the resources to go on tour, so I'm stoked to be able to host them on my tour and at the same time introduce my fans to great, undiscovered artists."
