Friday the 13th and I'm walking in to a sold out crowd at Club Red in Mesa, AZ to catch THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. The crowd was going absolutely postal for them, as the chanting of "Prada! Prada!" was ever increasing, even before the band hit the stage.
Once the band hit the stage with "Assistant To The Regional Manager", it was definitely game time. Followed by "Born To Lose", "Escape", "Outnumbered" and the entire Space EP the crowd was left sweaty and exhausted.
Bassist Andy Trick, guitarist Jeremy Depoyster, drummer Daniel Williams and vocalist Mike Hranica laid down an uncompromising punishment that the crowd ate up for the entire set.

The joke of the night was hands down the fact that MOTIONLESS IN WHITE's tour manager has no idea what an auto focus assist sensor on a DSLR is, or how it's different from a flash. It's not rocket science, but it proved too much to comprehend for him. While the sensor on the Nikon was white, there is a major difference between a dull, few second light and a flash that will make you see spots afterwards. Twenty-five plus years in front of a stage and this was officially the first time the camera got yanked for an auto focus sensor. Not to mention, he got the security guards to harass people up to 25 feet deep for using cell phones for photos. Of course, he couldn't have been bothered to inform the venue that lights of any sort wouldn't be allowed. #typicalnewbie
