It’s time again for the annual NAMM show convention! This year’s show takes place at the Anaheim Convention center starting on Thursday, January 19th through Sunday, January 23rd. NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, commonly called NAMM in reference to the organization's popular NAMM trade shows, is the not-for-profit association that promotes the pleasures and benefits of making music and strengthens the $17 billion global music products industry. The association — and the trade shows — serve as a hub for people wanting to seek out the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, sound and lighting. NAMM's activities and programs are designed to promote music making to people of all ages.
KNAC.COM will have our own DJ Will making appearances with his DJ sets at several shows that follow the end-of-the-day convention, some of which are open to the public. One set of shows is Bashfest 2017. Held at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana, tickets and information are available HERE.
KNAC.COM correspondent Krishta Abruzzini will be out en force again this year. Look for interviews with Rita Haney (Dimebag Darrell’s longtime partner), Herman Li of DRAGONFORCE and Dave Ellefson of MEGADETH among many others.
