Loyal To A Fault: An Exclusive Video Interview With Oregon's THE LOYAL ORDER

THE LOYAL ORDER started off as a studio project several years ago when singer Jeff Buehner was approached to write a theme song for a regional outdoor hunting reality show. After consulting with BLACK ‘N BLUE’s lead guitarist, Brandon Cook, for a heavy riff, the result was a song called "Off the Grid (Superhuman)".
As a bass player by trade, singing is a new beginning for Jeff. The songs were originally written with a different singer in mind, but after laying scratch tracks for the first few songs, the producer convinced him to lay the final vocal tracks himself.
From this songwriting partnership between Buehner and Cook, the songs began to flow. Originally, the recordings were produced and engineered by Kevin Hahn at Opal Studios in Portland. Most recently however, Rob Daiker (SLOWRUSH, VELABONZ, THE DAN REED NETWORK, ROYAL BLISS) has produced many songs, including the internet success, "Ready for Dead".
"Ready for Dead" was released March 1, 2019 as a single and music video (BuhnerMedia/Von Artists/The Orchard) and has rang up over 65K views and is still growing. Check it out now on KNAC.COMHERE.
The band recently began working with Thom Hazaert at David Ellefson’s EMP Label Group. Thom says of the band, "The decision to work with THE LOYAL ORDER was a really easy one. Top shelf musicians, writing top shelf songs. I wish every band was this good."
THE LOYAL ORDER will be opening for PUDDLE OF MUDD this September. Look for new singles to be released soon.
