The second annual “Inkarceration Music and Tattoo Festival will be taking place on July 12-14th on the grounds of the closed Ohio State Reformitory in Mansfield Ohio. It will feature over 30 of today’s top heavy rock touring acts, over three days and two stages. Headliners include SHINEDOWN, GODSMACK, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and more.
Over 70 top tattoo artists will be appearing as well, and offering their services, with a daily “Best Tattoo” competition. What really makes this festival unique is that the prison structure itself is open for self-guided tours. This is the structure that was used in the movie The Shawshank Redemption. Not only that, but the tattoo booths are in the cells! The stages are set up in the prison yard. A variety of food trucks will be onsite, as well as VIP packages, and camping available.
