Italy has built up a healthy list of bands in the past decade and one group that I've only now gotten familiar with is HIDEOUS DIVINITY. Since their debut in 2012, every album has matched its greatness if not somehow excelled the previous. With 2019's Simulacrum recenitly released and still fresh, the decided to put out a 3-song EP entitled LV-426. Science fiction nerds will recognize that title as the name of the setting for James Cameron's Aliens.
This 3-song EP revolves around that story and also highlights the lone survivor introduced in the film. Bassist Stefano Francechini took the time to talk to KNAC.COM and give us a track by track breakdown of the EP. From "Acheron (Stream of Woe)" to "Chestburst" and the cover "Delirium Trigger" - he talks about the inspiration that lead to the release, the band's previous album Simulacrum and much more.
