Being a metal band is easy, doing something to stand out from the numerous acts there are around the globe however is the thing that really can push any new artist from obscurity to fan favorite. Finland already is known for several well-established artists such as NIGHTWISH, KORPIKLAANI, and AMORPHIS but there are plenty of other bands in the country hoping to gain international attention. AFFECTION has been around for a quite a few years but 2022 will see the release of their debut album, Remnants. Vocalist Andy H.C. took the opportunity to sit down and discuss their new album, lineup changes, and what plans are for the band this year.
