Former TESLA guitarist TOMMY SKOECH formed RESIST & BITE in the beginning of 2019. He enlisted drummer DAVID PARKS, guitarist STEVE STOKES, bassist BRIAN POWELL and frontman NATHAN UTZ and the line-up was completed. Skoech and Company tested the waters with a self-produced single and video titled “The Myth I’m Livin’”. They followed it up with “Fate” in the summer of 2021 as preview of the self-titled album, which was released in the fall via LOR Live Records. The band has received critical acclaim for their stripped down, no frills, blue collar, rock ‘n’ roll. KNAC.COM caught up with RESIST & BITE frontman NATHAN UTZ on 2.25.22. He spoke to us about his first band BLONZ, working with ’Mr. Scary’ GEORGE LYNCH, his AEROSMITH tribute band PANDORA’S BOX and RESIST & BITE’s debut on THE MONSTERS OF ROCK CRUISE. RESIST & BITE isn’t a ‘one and done’ deal as they are already working on material for another album. If you haven’t heard their debut album, seek it out. If they are performing near you, go see them.
