ENVY OF NONE is the first post-RUSH work from guitarist ALEX LIFESON. It’s unlike anything he’s done before, it’s progressive at times, it’s industrial and leans heavily into the synth pop and rock arena. They have released a pair of music videos for the tracks “Look Inside” and “Liar”.
KNAC.COM had an opportunity to talk with MAIAH WYNNE the lead singer of ENVY OF NONE. The band includes, Wynne, guitarist ALEX LIFESON [RUSH], bassist and founding member ANDY CURRAN [CONEY HATCH] and drummer ALFINO ANNIBALINI. The band issued their debut self-titled album on April 8th, 2022, via KSCOPE. As mentioned, there’s a couple video out and there’s a new one coming soon. We spoke with Wynne on 4.14.22 to talk about the band, the music, the origin of the band’s name and her solo work.
