When vocalist Herbie Langhans is not ripping it up across the World recording and performing live with Heavy Metal heavyweights AVANTASIA and FIREWIND, he works on a musical project that is closest to his heart; RADIANT. While members of RADIANT have known each other for decades, they’ve only just begun recording together. 2018 saw the release of their self-titled debut through Massacre Records.
Since Langhans is such an in-demand vocalist, it took a few years to get back to recording with RADIANT. Written By Life is the latest offering by the German five piece, and it’s a concept album based on Langhan’s band mates personal experiences in the music business, and the events that shaped their path. I had the chance to catch up with vocalist Herbie Langhans during a tour stop with FIREWIND.
