As soon as I laid ears on White Hot Reflection by SPACE VACATION I was hooked. The album took me back to a simpler time as a teenager, locked in my room, banging my head to my favorite Heavy Metal tunes as my parents told me to turn it down. A 10 out of 10 rating just wouldn’t be high enough, because White Hot Reflection goes up to 11. I had the chance to speak with SPACE VACATION frontman Scott Shapiro shortly after the album’s release. Come to find out, we grew up in the same two towns in Massachusetts. However, when I was a teenager, Scott was probably just taking his first steps.
