“It’s not too late - to re-create - let’s celebrate - let’s elevate!” declares Canadian songstress LEE AARON on the title track of her latest studio album. Elevate is set for release on November 25, 2022 through Metalville Records (read review on KNAC.COMHERE). It follows her highly praised 2021 release Radio On.
With Elevate, LEE AARON once again draws from her musical tool box of powerful melodic vocals, textured moods and melodies, and shoot-from-the-hip storytelling to deliver another compelling work of art. I had the chance to catch up with LEE AARON prior to the album’s release.
Highlights include:
-Discussion of new album Elevate
-Stories behind some of the songs
-Drummer John Cody’s 200k vinyl collection
-Finally touring in support of Radio On (2021)
-Appearing on the 2023 Monsters of Rock Cruise
-Playing a benefit show for Rocket Norton (PRISM)
-Sharing the stage with CHILLIWACK, LOVEBOY, NICK GILDER
-Future touring plans
-Memories of recording Some Girls Do (1991)
-Fans immortalizing her as a Funko Pop & Lego figure
-And much, much more
