BLAK29 is the new brain-child and project of the ultra talented Steve Zing who took a real hands on approach to this album. His new album titled The Waiting was all done on his terms and at his studio, with him on drums and vocals along with the help of Dan Tracey on bass and guitar. They created a masterful sound of good old fashioned rock with that touch of Goth that Zing is known for. Having worked with DANZIG and SAMHAIN, some of that influence shows in the music. With an all-star line-up that loaned their talents on The Waiting that include Johnny Kelly (TYPE O NEGATIVE, QUIET RIOT), Tommy Victor (PRONG, MINISTRY), and Jyrki 69 (THE 69 EYES) - it was a sure bet on BLAK29 that this album will rock.
