The Thrash Metal scene is thriving and local openers and headliners alike are reveling in the resurgence. Los Angeles', although somewhat limited, is well represented by some great up-and-coming bands and well established bands. One band that has cut its teeth throughout Los Angeles and has successfully made a name for themselves is Whittier's own EXMORTUS. They will soon release their new album Necrophony on August 25th.
