Greek Heavy Metal act FIREWIND are gearing up to release their first live performance Blu-Ray, Still Raging, on September 1, 2023. This special performance marks the band's 20th anniversary, and it was only fitting to hold the show in their hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece at the Principal Club Theater.

I had the chance to preview this special performance and I can confidently say that FIREWIND fans won't be disappointed. Even if you're just tuning into the band, there's plenty to like here, from the anthemic songs to the powerful performances.

Guitarist and founder GUS G has been at the helm since the band's inception in 2002. There have been a lot of member changes around him, including his own hiatus as OZZY OSBOURNE's guitarist from 2009-2012. FIREWIND's current line-up debuted on their 2020 self-titled album, and Still Raging is just one of what is likely to be many shining moments in this foursome's future.

I had the chance to catch up with GUS G ahead of the release of Still Raging. I'd like to clarify that the performance is packaged as a Blu-Ray and 2CD set. Twice in our interview I said it was a Blu-Ray and 2 DVDs.
