June 6, 2006 (6/6/06) has come and gone, and we're still here. The world did not end, uh, at least I am pretty sure it didn't. I mean, to quote a wise old soul, how do we know we didn't get left behind? Anyway, I don't feel condemned, and in fact, most of the day yesterday I spent kind of laughing at the whole 666 thing, while religious folk on both sides of the good/evil isle took it pretty seriously.

What's your take on this number? If you were pregnant, would you try to avoid giving birth on 6/6/06? (You have to wait another 100 years to actually make that decision). Does the number mean anything to you? Do you worship the devil? Isn't the actual number of the beast 616 when literally translated? Doesn't the number have more to do with Roman rulers, like Nero than it does with an anti-christ? And what would metal be without the classic battle of good and evil, and all the symbolism, like the pentagram, the four horsemen and the number of the beast?

Rant away like there's no tomorrow, uh, I am pretty sure there is a tomorrow.
