Wendy Dio continues to keep the Legacy alive in the name of Ronnie James Dio who succumbed to cancer 23 years ago. Through various events, she along with a supportive cast of Doctors and Research Scientists who actually care to make a difference for good with modern science - bring the Rock and Metal Community with such an event like the BOWL FOR RONNIE charity event. Dr. David Wong and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor are just a couple of names involved that, along with Wendy Dio, aim to find a cure.

KNAC.COM was at the 2023 event that took place at Pinz Bowling Alley in Studio City CA. The yearly event hosted by Eddie Trunk raised over $80,000 the RONNIE JAMES DIO STAND UP AND SHOUT CANCER FUND, dedicated to cancer prevention, research and education.

I was able to catch some words with many of the great talented Artists who attended the event, who shared their thoughts about the man himself, how cancer has effected their lives and any upcoming news they had to share about their music. Find more Info at https://diocancerfund.org/.
