From Metal Blade Records:
The Saint is currently on Hiatus, as John Bush is getting ready for a new Anthrax record, which is due for release in February 2003 on Nuclear Blast records. They will be touring soon after.
In the meantime, watch out for Saint's reissue of their home video, A Trip Thru Red Times, which is being released as a DVD, full of extra videos, an interview conducted this past September, an old school photo gallery plus the added feature of a 5.1 surround mix. This is due for release in February 2003.
Also coming from the Saint is a 2-disc reissue of their classic record, Symbol of Salvation, which will include an extra disc of demo tracks and an interview conducted by Metal Blade CEO Brian Slagel about the making of the record. The 2-disc set will come with a limited edition digipack packaging. Look for this sometime in Spring. Release date to follow.
And as if this wasn't enough, The Saint is currently putting together a new DVD, which will feature the years from 1991 - 2002. More live videos, photos and debauchery from the Saint in late Summer 2003. We'll keep you posted on the progress.
Meanwhile other members:
Joey Vera is currently finishing up work on the new Seven Witches record, which is titled Passage to the Other Side.
Joey is engineering and co-producing with guitarist Jack Frost, and also plays bass on this one. The record is scheduled to come out in February 2003 on Noise/Sanctuary records.
Gonzo and Phil Sandoval have teamed up with their former band Life After Death and begun writing new material for what will be a coming-soon new record from the cult favorite band.
Jeff Duncan is currently looking for distribution for his band DC4's, most recent record, as the record label Rising Sun has folded. Meanwhile the band is playing selected dates in the LA area.
