Former Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, Gary Moore and present Company of Snakes bassist Neil Murray will be in the backing band of the Queen musical We Will Rock You, written by Ben Elton, which opens at the Dominion Theatre in London, England on May 14th, 2002.
Neil has worked with Queen guitarist Brian May before, so he should be well aquainted with the material.
Depending on the Company Of Snakes’ schedule, Neil might miss a few COS dates on their tour in summer, promoting the forthcoming studio album Burst The Bubble, which is to be released in Europe through SPV on January 28th and contains 15 new tracks. He is, however, not inteding to leave the Company Of Snakes.
Busy musician Neil is, he has also teamed up with ex-Black Sabbath shouter Tony Martin, ex-Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult, one-time Quet Riot drummer Bobby Rondinelli and Felix Papalardi guitarist Teddy Rondinelli. This all-star line-up is working on an album, which will be released on May through MTM Music.
