Sharon, obviously charged with emotion, said that most people probably don’t “give a damn” about the plight of such a rich and famous couple, but she said the theft “pissed her off big time.” She told reporters at a police news conference, “Everything we got we have worked our asses off for.” The items nabbed include Sharon’s diamond wedding bands, a 24-carat sapphire ring, and some seriously jeweled watches. British newspapers estimate the grab to be worth about $1.8 million. Ozzy and Sharon are offering a 100,000 pound reward for the return of their stuff. The robbery occurred Monday, when the two awoke to find burglars in their house. Ozzy says he got into a scuffle with one of the robbers, who broke free from Ozzy and jumped out a first-floor window. Ozzy said in hindsight the episode could have been a lot worse, “I just thank God that no one got injured.”
