Nikki Sixx Writes Anti-heroin Book By Newsferatu, Writer Sunday, June 12, 2005 @ 4:58 AM
Sixx legally died twice after two overdoses, and he's using part of his third life to pen "The Heroin Diaries". The book details his experience and the tremendous down-side to heroin use. The book is based on diary Nikki's diary entries from 1986-1987.
He explains, "I was lucky and now, if I help just one kid make the right decision, then it's worth it. It may give people a new view. If I'd read it, maybe I'd never have stuck a needle in my arm."
No word yet on an official release date for the book.
Book biz is keeping Sixx busy. The Motley Crue book " The Dirt" is being turned into a movie, and Sixx is busy with pre-production issues.
