“The recent events in New Orleans, and all of the Gulf Coast, have shown us how easy it is to lose everything in the blink of an eye. Thousands of people have lost their homes, their belongings and even members of their family. Queensryche and KISW have decided to help - and we're enlisting the help of our all of our friends in the Rock community, including you! Join Queensryche and KISW next Sunday, September 11th at The Showbox, 1st & Pike in downtown Seattle, for a benefit concert and silent auction dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina! Doors at 7pm, and a live show featuring POST STARDOM DEPRESSION, POINT ONE and Queensryche begins at 7:30! There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on items like an autographed JUDAS PRIEST guitar, a framed and autographed OZZY OSBOURNE poster, and the chance to photograph SYSTEM OF A DOWN at their upcoming Key Arena show! Tickets go on sale at all Ticketswest outlets Tuesday at 10 AM for only $9.99. All ages show, bar with ID. All proceeds from the auction and tickets sales will go directly to The Red Cross to aid those who were affected by Hurricane Katrina earlier this week.
