Release Date Set for New Helix Album By Newsferatu, Writer Sunday, July 2, 2006 @ 10:50 AM
"It’s 12:30 Friday, June 28th (my birthday!) as I write this. I’ve just returned from Mole Studios, where I’ve been since 7 this evening putting down the vocals on three new Helix tracks: 'Baby Likes To Ride', 'The Past Is Back To Kick Your Ass', and 'Do You Believe In The Power Of Rock & Roll'. Next week we’ll be adding the background vocals, some lead vocal skats, and lastly the guitar leads. Then it’s on to the mix! We already have three more tunes ready to record and I’m shooting for the fall to have the new disc out. The name of the new CD is Get Up! We’re presently trying to put together U.S. dates for the fall, as well as a possible western Canadian tour in October. We’re also hoping to return to Europe next spring/summer in support of the new CD."
