American melodic heavy metal band ANGELS OF BABYLON released their new 3rd album Aquarius on March 1, 2024 via FireRock Music Group.
FireRock Music Group President Tom Collier comments:
We heard this record and immediately knew we had to sign drummer "Rhino" and his band ANGELS OF BABYLON to a record deal. He is not only a great drummer, and singer, but a great songwriter. This album truly is a musical journey that must be experienced by everyone."
FireRock Music Group has been making a big impact on the music world and will soon be releasing more and more great bands/artists on their label.
ANGELS OF BABYLON started in 2010 with drummer Kenny "Rhino" Earl (Manowar, Holy Hell, Death Dealer), vocalist Dave Fefolt (Hawk, Masi, Firewolfe), bassist Dave Ellefson (Megadeth) and Boston guitar wizard Ethan Brosh.
The band's first album Kingdom of Evil was an epic melodic metal killer with memorable choruses and beautiful powerful songs that inspire and move the soul.
In 2013 the band's second album Thunder God featured Rhino performing all vocals while drumming just like legendary drummers Gil Moore from TRIUMPH and Dan Beehler from EXCITER. The album is packed with incredible melodies and fist pumping energy.
2023 brought an entire new band line-up featuring guitarist Alex Stephens, guitarist Kevin Burns and bassist Ned Meloni. Their band's new 3rd album Aquarius is a heavy metal mystical journey with incredible melodies and massive headbanging rhythms.
On stage, the band's live show is something you do not want to ever miss. The show is an epic bombastic voyage and features a huge wall of sound filled with sonic crunch and earth shattering tones. Rhino on vocals and playing the drums is something to really behold.

Nashville, Tennessee drummer Kenny "Rhino" Earl began playing drums at a young age, eventually playing live shows with his band, ARC ANGEL. It was in 1991 when ARC ANGEL, opening for heavy metal legends MANOWAR, was noticed by outgoing drummer Scott Columbus which led to a meeting with MANOWAR bandleader and bassist, Joey DeMaio. Rhino was invited to join MANOWAR and performed on their 1992 Gold-Certified album, The Triumph of Steel, and subsequent took part in their two-year world tour. Featured on the album was Rhino's blistering five-minute drum solo, "Armor of the Gods".
1994 saw Rhino and the rest of MANOWAR embark on the 45-date "Secrets of Steel" world tour to promote the band's new box set. During this tour, MANOWAR officially broke the record for becoming the loudest band in the world, reaching 129.4 decibels in Hanover, Germany.
Rhino would leave MANOWAR at the end of 1994 to pursue other musical avenues, including guest performances on various albums until 2005, when the melodic heavy metal band HOLYHELL was formed under Joey Demaio's Magic Circle Music label.
HOLYHELL toured with MANOWAR from 2005 through 2009. It was in 2008 when Rhino re-united with MANOWAR to play multiple concerts including the Magic Circle Music festival, and a record breaking five hour and one minute concert at the Kavarna Rock Fest in Bulgaria.
Rhino would go on to form his own symphonic metal band, ANGELS OF BABYLON, which produced two records, Kingdom of Evil, and Thunder God. Additionally, Rhino played drums for metal legend JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR, performing on the albums, Land of the Dead, Stand Your Ground, and the 2022 release, Souls of the Innocent. Rhino is currently writing and recording an album with former MANOWAR bandmate and guitarist, David Shankle.
