Frontman Dee Snider adds: "I think the Long Island Music Hall of Fame will be a great thing for Long Island pride, which is really lacking. We feel like we're a redheaded stepchild to New York - Long Island is the Rodney Dangerfield of the music industry. It gets no respect. It's the 'burbs. It's not LA, New York or London. It's Long Island, you know? So (Long Islanders) don't realise the mark we've made."
