A Blabbermouth poster left this comment about a pisser of a show in England: "Trivium frontman Matt Heafy interrupted the band's set [as the support act for Iron Maiden] at Earl's Court, London last night [Friday, Dec. 22] to chide members of the audience after being subjected to a barrage of urine-filled balloons and bottles. Heafy and bassist Paolo Gregoletto were showered with urine during their performance of 'Like Light to the Flies'. Heafy angrily declared that the act was 'really wrong' and that if he saw anyone throwing things at the band he would see that they were 'thrown the fuck out" and 'beaten the fuck up.'
The members of Journey have given former Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist Jeff Scott Soto the thumbs up as permanent lead singer. Soto has been handling the job since former frontman Steve Augeri, who stepped in to replace Steve Perry, was sidelined by illness shortly after the band's tour with Def Leppard began in June.
Jon Bon Jovi has teamed up with fashion designer Kenneth Cole for the 'R.S.V.P. to Help' fundraiser event for the homeless in New York. The event will take place at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City on January 25th. Jon Bon Jovi will perform at acoustic set on the night and Cole will host the VIP party on the rooftop.
According to a post at the official Cradle of Filth website, the band recently re-visited the studio with Andy Sneap to finish off mixes on a few left over tracks for the Thornography sessions. The band says those tracks will be released some time next year.
