The Broken Souls Tour Touches Down At Warehouse Live Midtown On February 17th

There's something about Warehouse Live that just makes a show feel bigger. Maybe it's the low lights, the packed crowd buzzing with anticipation, or the fact that every band that steps on that stage seems to bring their A-game. The BROKEN SOULS TOUR was no different-four bands, each with their own flavor, proving exactly why they deserve to be there.

IF NOT FOR ME opened the night, and from the first note, it was clear they weren't here to play it safe. The Pennsylvania-based band has spent years grinding through the metalcore scene, building a reputation for combining melodic hooks with gut-punching heaviness, and this night was a reminder of why that grind is paying off. Their frontman, Patrick Glover, has vocals for days, shifting effortlessly between clean melodies and throat-shredding screams. And the band behind him? Tight. Every riff, every breakdown-it all hit hard.

They also have this way of making a crowd feel like part of the show. During "SAY IT TO MY FACE", you could practically feel the tension crackling through the room. For a band still climbing the ranks, they already carry themselves like veterans. I wouldn't be surprised if they're headlining their own tour in a year or two.

Setlist:

  • "DEMONS"
  • "EVERYTHING YOU WANTED"
  • "ALONE"
  • "SAY IT TO MY FACE"
  • "TRAGEDY"
  • "BLAMELESS"
  • "NO THANKS TO YOU"
  • "FEEL ME NOW"
IF NOT FOR ME set the tone, and ARCHERS wasted zero time keeping it alive. Hailing from Wisconsin, these guys bring a heart-on-their-sleeve approach to metalcore, blending aggression with lyrics that actually make you feel something. You can tell they've paid their dues playing in sweaty clubs and hometown basements because they know how to work a room.

"Black Lung" hit like a freight train-half the room was moshing, the other half screaming the words back at the band. But it's not all chaos with ARCHERS. There's a warmth to their performance that makes you feel like they're not just playing for the crowd-they're playing with them. I couldn't stop watching the guitarist, Ben Koehler, who somehow managed to crush every riff while still making it look effortless.

Setlist:

  • "BITTER"
  • "EVERYTHING I'VE EVER KNOWN"
  • "PLAGUE"
  • "IN THE DARK"
  • "VULTURES"
  • "BLACK LUNG"
  • "NO PRAYERS"
  • "FORGIVENESS"
THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT hit the stage like they were summoning something. There's no other way to describe it. This isn't your typical rock band-this is a full-on theatrical experience. Frontman Lee Jennings (yes, the one with the neon green hair) doesn't just perform-he commands. One second he's crooning into the mic, and the next he's leading the crowd like a twisted carnival barker.

And let's talk about their merch table, which had a green-haired Buc-ees plush to match Lee. It's little touches like that, combined with their over-the-top stage presence, that make THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT impossible to forget. By the time they closed with "The Crash" it felt like the whole venue had been pulled into their weird, wonderful universe.

Setlist:

  • "HOLY WATER"
  • "VOODOO DOLL"
  • "SUFFOCATE CITY"
  • "DARK THOUGHTS"
  • "ALIEN QUEEN"
  • "IT'S OVER"
  • "PAPER MACHE MAN"
  • "THE CRASH"
Then came CATCH YOUR BREATH, and honestly, it felt like the entire night had been building to this moment. They kicked things off with a cover of HINDER's "Lips Of An Angel" which sounds like a wild choice until you heard how loud the crowd was singing along-then twisted it into something dark, heavy, and completely their own. From there, it was hit after hit, with the crowd hanging on every note.

Halfway through the set, IF NOT FOR ME came back out to join them on "Say This Sober", and the energy exploded. There's something special about watching bands on the same tour genuinely hype each other up, and you could tell the camaraderie here is real.

My brother Marshall went to culinary school with CATCH YOUR BREATH's drummer, Onell, which meant I got the insane opportunity to meet him before and after the show. I even walked away with a signed setlist that's already sitting in a frame next to my camera gear. But even without that personal connection these bands made the night unforgettable.

Meeting Onell before the set was one thing, but watching him behind the kit? Something else entirely. Every drum hit felt massive-like the foundation holding the whole thing together. When he handed me a signed setlist after the show, I knew this was a night I wasn't going to forget anytime soon.

Setlist:

  • "LIPS OF AN ANGEL" (HINDER Cover)
  • "PERFECT STRANGERS"
  • "MADE FOR LOVE"
  • "DRAG ME OUT"
  • "SAY THIS SOBER" (With IF NOT FOR ME)
  • "NEVER ENOUGH"
  • "COMPOSURE"
  • "BEFORE YOU GO"
  • "BITTER"
  • "BLACKMARKETMONKEYMAGIC"
The BROKEN SOULS TOUR isn't some corporate-sponsored spectacle-it's a showcase of four bands who've earned every inch of where they are now. IF NOT FOR ME brings the heart, ARCHERS deliver the grit, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT turns the whole thing into a fever dream, and CATCH YOUR BREATH ties it together with the kind of performance that makes you want to follow their tour bus to the next city.

If these bands are coming through your hometown, don't sleep on it-this is the kind of night you'll want to say you were there for.
