Tommy Lee: Mötley Crüe Will Launch a World Tour By Newsferatu, Writer Wednesday, February 27, 2008 @ 1:30 PM
Lee also commented on his status in the group, stating, "Nope! I never quit! Silly rumors! We're all together! We're goin' on a world tour starting July 4th!"
Mötley Crüe has set a July 8th release date for The Dirt, their ninth studio album.
The new album is based on The Dirt: Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band, the 448-page tome which catalogues the drug and alcohol abuse, nasty infighting, and sex parties of Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx.
A film version of the book is expected to be released this year by Paramount and MTV.
