Twin brother hard rock duo Kamenar are hitting the road this spring on their “Cumin’ Atcha Live Tour,” running March 28th through May 9th, featuring 21 dates alongside multi-platinum rock band Pop Evil, multiple headline performances, and an appearance with Buckcherry.
Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Sean and John Kamenar have built a reputation as one of rock’s most unique and electrifying independent touring acts. Performing as a two-piece band that delivers the sonic power of a full four-piece, the duo creates a massive sound with Sean handling lead vocals, guitar, and bass simultaneously, while John drives the band’s explosive energy on the drums.
Formed in 2015, the brothers were inspired to start the band after discovering Aerosmith through their Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction — a moment that sparked Sean and John’s musical journey. Since then, Kamenar has blended the spirit of 70s, 80s, and 90s rock with modern hard rock production, creating a fresh yet nostalgic sound that translates powerfully to the stage. The upcoming tour name, “Cumin’ Atcha Live,” is a nod to Tesla, reflecting their continued influence from past decades.

Known for their high-energy live performances, Kamenar has built quite the resume, opening and sharing stages with rock legends and modern heavyweights, including Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, Ace Frehley, Alice Cooper, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy, Bret Michaels, Everclear, Filter, Hinder, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Alien Ant Farm, Nita Strauss, Night Ranger, L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, Dokken, King’s X, Jackyl, Geoff Tate, Stephen Pearcy, and Slaughter, among others.
The band has also appeared at major festivals such as RokIsland Fest and Orange Loop Rock Festival, performing alongside acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Chevelle, John 5, and Hoobastank.
Over the years, Kamenar have toured extensively across the U.S. with artists including 10 Years, Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin), Smile Empty Soul, and Tantric, as well as just recently wrapping up a tour with Dinosaur Pile-Up last month.
This upcoming run holds significance for the band, as Kamenar cites Pop Evil as an early inspiration. In fact, the brothers recorded a cover of Pop Evil’s song “Ways to Get High” for their 2020 debut EP, long before the opportunity to tour together would arise.
Their latest singles — “Animal,” “Now That We Both Know,” and “The Man” — are available now on all major streaming platforms. Kamenar’s cover of Badflower’s “Animal” saw notable success at rock radio nationwide, reaching #28 on the Mainstream/Active Rock charts.
The upcoming tour marks one of the band’s most extensive runs to date and includes several standout shows — including three nights at the legendary Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan, with the first two dates already sold out.
VIP packages are available now at KamenarOfficial.com, giving fans the chance to hang with the band and receive exclusive merch items only available through the VIP experience.
